Cannot place stairs after you bulldoze a penthouse

I looked this up and there is a post from 7 YEARS ago about someone else and others who have experienced this same issue but with the city living expansion pack. I am playing in ciudad emarada - I may have spelled this wrong and I apologize if that is the case. Any ways before I bulldoze there is a ladder and/or stairs on the lots and I can place them. After bulldoze it is not registering terrain or blocks being there to be able to place the stairs. It could be because for some reason when you bulldoze these lots the game is registering it as an apartment and not a penthouse anymore. just a suggestion. I deal more with blender than actual video games from a software understanding. It also makes sense that the same glitches happen with different packs, it was hard to find someone else experiencing this issue with the lovestruck expansion and that could be because people including me forget and do not really play with these lots. BUT, I would also think that because this has been an issue before it should be something you would look for again and I would expect it to not be an issue again. It is irritating that I have put hundreds of dollars into a game that is always lacking in something or glitching out, I really wish you had a better system of how you guys make sure things get taken care of.  I love the Sims. It was something that me and my younger brother heavily bonded over and enjoyed when we were children. I love the ideas and the different ways the sims have changed. Obviously I am not alone in this as it is a very popular game. You would think with such a following the sims would care more about the average consumer and how they choose to spend their fun money on the sims. With that being said, instead of figuring out how to make more money on the game, FIX it for the consumers who are buying. Put the record breaking number of dollars Sims makes you where your mouth is and make the sims a game people want to open because it works, has the sims style, and brings in the nostalgia we all love. The sims would not have competition in the works if it worked correctly. I want to love the sims, not life sims. This love letter is not just because of not being able to place some stairs. I can get on here and see that there are thousands if not hundreds of thousands of issues people experience with the game. How can you be a major player in a gaming market and not want to FIX the game? How can you not see the market the sims has created SCREAMING, FIX THE GAME? If you plan to make the Sims 4 a legendary lasting game, take 2026 and seriously fix it. Pay the people who work for you a living acceptable wage for their skills so they want to do good by EA as a company. Hire more people, Tackle that list of bugs, Fix the items in the game that are not aesthetically pleasing anymore, do better game testing, Refresh every single pack, hire a team of experts for each pack and get them to working. OR start over and make a sims 5. but wait you guys already did that with sims 3?.. The Sims needs a better project manager. You might be making money, you might have the money to pay some competition off or maybe threaten them, I do not know, I only have my suspicions. I do know that some people do not care about money or threats, if they have passion and hard work behind it. I also know that my view of EA is not the best because of my experience with the sims. I would say that EA seems shady and that they do not care about their markets they only care about money. As a business that is important, but taking care of your customers is also important because without them you would not have the sick office spaces or the platform that you have. I think that the sims is out of touch and so is EA. I have a strong feeling I am not alone, and I would hope this is something you would want to fix. I am just one person, but if I can read the room why can't the sims, why cant EA?  When paralives comes out, I will probably switch. I want to love The Sim's, not life sims.
