Cannot sell or place food into fridge

Could you please provide the following information

- Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do. Please pick a thread tag for that.

I’m not using any mods or cc. I’m just plain jane playing.

For the produce, is this also related to the fridge or also generally from the Sims inventory either ?

I can’t even pick the items up from the sim inventory. It does not let me, the only options that it gives me is to place in world or eat the items. 

I was even thinking of just moving it to another playable sims inventory so I can still sell it but with it not able to “grab” the item, I cannot do so.
