Can't directly click on things/cursor off from actual object

If you're playing in Windows, please also provide a dxdiag.  Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop.  From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.

missbecam​  Please try disabling Game Mode and Game Bar, both under Windows Settings > Gaming.

If that alone doesn't help, disable any apps that come with overlays: Discord, Steam, etc.  Disable the EA App in-game overlay as well, under Settings > Application.

I did so, but the problem still persists. 

I also noticed that the issue with the bar happens in windowed mode. Changing the resolution didn't help, but full screen mode seems to have the sidebar working normally. 

missbecam​  That's interesting.  Does it help if you resize the game window within windowed mode?  If it doesn't help immediately, please restart your computer and test the game again at that resolution, as in, let it load at that size and don't change the size again until you've tested.

The one service to leave enabled is the EABackgroundService, which the EA App needs in order to run.  Disable the rest as described.

When you reboot your computer, go through the Task Manager's background processes list shutting down any service that doesn't absolutely need to be running, for example anything from MSI Afterburner to RGB software might still be enabled.  If you accidentally kill a critical process and it doesn't restart on its own, just reboot your computer again.

Don't open anything other than Sims 4 and the EA App while testing, not even a browser window.

If this helps, you can selectively reenable services until you find the culprit, then either leave that disabled or (if it belongs to an app you want to keep using) let me know what it is so we can try to fix the underlying issue.

After the game decided to update anyways, I played for a few minutes and noticed in cas, really the whole game the icon selection is bugged out.  Some things you can click on like normal, but trying to click "x" on most things doesn't work.

No mods obviously since the game has been freshly updated.

Hello! I am having an issue with game controls and pointer. They are like moved left a bit and sometimes I use the wrong buttom instead. The images explain better what Im trying to say xd.

And its happening with everything: up controls, select a sim in the domestic unit and select a menu from bottom right.

This happens with and without mods, so is not a mod problem to me, I guess.

Then I already test it using the "Direct 9 option on" and everything is working fine, so its a DX 11 problem, in my case at least. With all this said, I dont know if I will not be able to play correctly with Direct 11, so, what will I do when the DX11 becomes the only option?

In this one I have to move the mouse a lot to click on it

Alright, I play sims on laptop.
The images were taken without mods. I mean, I have the issue using mods and not using them.
I play mostly windowed because the game runs better and smooth. But I switch to full window and fullscreen mode to see if it change the issue and yes, controls works fine. 
I use high resolution in every option.
