Can't Drag & Place Items from Sim Inventory

I have this problem too.... are you still having this problem? If not, how did you fix it?

I am also having this issue. No mods. Playing on a computer. It just started today. I have tried repair and it still doing the same thing. I try to drag items from chest/workbench/sim and move to another, and it bugs out. It will not allow me to drag anything else, and the item/sim I am pulling from will remain highlighted as though it is still selected even when I leave the inventory menu. After the first repair, it allowed me to move things for a moment before it glitched again. Initially had the move object cheat activated so I tried re-opening the game without this activated and error still occurs.

Johnny Zest married Katrina Caliente. Before marrying, I put stuff in his inventory to bring with him in his new house. Now that he moved, stuff is locked in his inventory and cannot be dragged out.
