The problem just occurred a couple of days ago: I cannot enter "play" mode. I can go into CAS and build mode just fine but as soon as I actually want to play the world, it takes me back to the neighborhood. This must be an in-game glitch because my friend is experiencing the same problem around the same time period.

My Sims 4 was fine for a while, though there were occasional glitches because of corrupted mods, etc. Last week I decided to be stupid and delete my entire Mods folder. I had to go into the Recycle Bin and retrieve all of the mods (including ones I intentionally deleted a while ago) and moved them to a separate file in Downloads. After doing so, it led me to the discovery that I had three separate Sims 4 files. No clue how that happened, but it took me a while to figure out which one I had been playing this whole time. I eventually moved over every save, tray, mods, and screenshot folder from each game into a combined couple of folders in my Downloads. Then I deleted every version. I redownloaded The Sims 4 and moved my folders into the new game. This is when I noticed I could not enter play mode. The settings obviously reset when I opened my new game, so I decided to enable my Script Mods (like they have always been). Play mode was unavailable. Disabled Script Mods. Can enter play mode. Alright, well obviously one of my script mods are corrupted, I told myself. To be extra cautious, I started with my non-script mods. I have over 3,000 mods (including scripts), so it took me a minute to apply the 50/50 method. (And yes, my game has always worked fine with 3,000 mods. It's not that.) And it's not the regular mods. So then I moved onto my scripts. 50/50. Still couldn't enter play mode. I tried disabling all of them, but leaving the Script Mods Enabled. Can enter play mode. I enabled a couple at a time. I could still enter the game, a good sign. As soon as I added a couple more to the mix, I wasn't able to play. So I disabled the first couple of mods and tried the new ones I enabled. Able to enter play mode. It just doesn't make any sense. I've tried every combination. I recently downloaded **bleep** and tried only that. Works. Disabling it and using other scripts. Doesn't work. At first I thought it was WW but I don't think it is. At the moment, I currently only have WW enabled and the game works fine. Am I missing something?

- Double-checking to make sure none of my mods contradict with others
