I have 7 members in a family but I cannot add more animals or children because it sais that I reached the limit. (I'm playing from my PC).

Hi, I currently have 7 sims (5 sims and a dog and a cat) in my household and I want to let my cat have a kitten but it says that my household is too big... I checked multiple times, no one is pregnant so I think it's a bug. Anyone else having the same problem?
