After the new update, my sims cannot even do any action with vacuum, it shows on build/buy but i cannot drag it to my sims's inventory.

I have this issue as well! I got the kit from the marketplace. Anything I got from the EA app seems to work fine, but I got the Bust the Dust kit from the Marketplace, and it doesn't work. Can't add my vacuums to my inventory, and while I see the sparkles signifying that the dust kit is on, dust doesn't actually gather, so it just sparkles for nothing.
