Cant rotate doors

Hi!  Can you please provide more detail about what you're trying to do?  Maybe include what lot you're building on, which doors you've tried, if they're all diagonal, etc.?  All the extra info will be helpful to figure out what might be happening.  It would also be helpful if you could add some photos or a video of what's happening for you.

I tested it just now on PS5 and had no trouble rotating the doors. 

I even added a diagonal wall to test...

Hi sorry for the late response what i was trying to was add the door to an archway to give the appearance of an open doorway so its not actually attached to a wall but for some reason i can't freely rotate any doors i know it can be done as ive done it many times i will try and upload a picture to show what i mean

mumofharryThank you very much for the image.  That definitely helps clarify what you're going for.  I tested on PS5 and on PC.  I was not able to freely rotate doors like other objects.  I don't know if this is a bug or an intentional change that was made.  Perhaps a CM will let us know.

It's not quite the same but I was able to add a door at an angle by first placing an angled wall, adding the door and then deleting the wall.  I recorded and shared a video of this here.  https://youtu.be/R498LEBpxOM  Hopefully this will help you until we get an answer about the free rotation of doors.

Omg im so sorry i now think that its always been like this watching your video made me realise maybe doors have never rotated 

I honestly don't know.  I've never tried rotating the doors like this before.  In the image you shared, the door is at an angle that I wasn't able to replicate.  I actually like the illusion of that open door and it still may be worthwhile for the team to take a look when able.
