Can't Work From Home...No Popup To Choose

Every since the latest bug updated last week, my sims can no longer choose to work from home - the pop-up to choose just doesn't pop-up anymore. 

Also the school pop-ups from parent hood, don't show up either. The game just automatically chooses an answer and I only get the pop-up about how my kid's characters values have changed. 

Naturally I'm still getting calls other players inside my house asking me to go to  Camp Gibby Gibby and Love Island. 🙄

I'm on Mac. 

The only Mods / CC I have is one pair of eyelashes.
