Career Info Not Visible After Receiving Noble Title

One of my Sims in my household is in the Noble Career. Their spouse works in the Entertainer career but has a Noble title, which is displayed in the Career panel. However, since my Noble career Sim signed up, the Entertainer Sim's career info doesn't display correctly in the Career panel. You can see their Noble title, but all their Entertainer career info appears to have been pushed aside out of sight.

I tried expanding the size of the Career panel. No luck. I haven't yet tried quitting the Entertainer career (I'm planning to do so for my Sim to join the Noble career as well). Restarting the game doesn't work either.

Is this a common bug? Only this particular Sim has this problem. I can see the Noble career info as normal, and the career panel displays properly for my other Sims as well. Does their Noble title have something to do with it?

I'd appreciate any advice. It's not exactly game breaking, but I can't see what my Sim needs to do to get promoted. I've never come across this issue before. I'll try and upload screenshots from my game to show what's going on.

I should add that I do not have any mods or CC installed, and my game is fully updated. I play on PC.

Update: Tried repairing the game. Didn't work.

I have the exact same problem! I removed all mods and that wasn't the issue either.. let's hope there's a fix 🤞🏻

    I'm back! Rotational player.

So, clearly Vlad wants to be noble. I mean. Most in-character thing ever, amirite? In my save he's married, has adult children (one of whom lives with him) and a child-aged grandchild. Oh, and his daughter-in-law's Servo. Just go with it. ;)

    So. Career panels:

Yes, Vlad's looks fine. His wife is unemployed, so she is also fine:

His son, on the other hand:

I mean, since he's in the base game musician career it's okay, I guess. He's already maxed his career. He should go to work autonomously. I guess I don't really need to see the info? It's kind of annoying, but okay?

Vlad's daughter-in-law/the son with the bugged panel's wife is also fine because she has no title from family:

    As is her Servo (lol):

AND, the son and daughter-in-law have a child-aged daughter, whom I was considering having join the noble career when she hits teen.

I... think? that since titles go down but not up her mother will not have to quit the engineer career? I guess I'll see in 3 in-game days.

For what it's worth, Vlad's daughter lives in another household and her career panel looked fine. It's only the family members with titles from marriage/family in the same household.

Update: Yes, since titles flow down rather than up, the granddaughter joining the career did not mess up her mother's career panel!

Update 2: alas, Vlad's son in another household has a messed-up career panel. He's in the base game painter career and has maxed it, so it's not the end of the world, but it's annoying.

So! I thought I hadn’t seen the bug in my first noble’s household and… yeah. The Queen of Windenburg’s adult kids:

I’m trying to remember what I did differently with this family, and all I can think of is that Queen Phoebe, their mother, is Vlad’s fledgling and was part of his dynasty when she joined the career. I only created her dynasty after she got a Want to do so. I might try dissolving and re-creating a dynasty with a bugged career panel.

Edit: that didn’t help. Is it because Phoebe was the first noble I created in this save?

Edit again: No, that's not right. Vlad was first. I popped into his household out-of-rotation and popped back out.

Edit redux: I spent a lot of time trying things. I created parents in CAS.fulleditmode. I gender-swapped Sims. I demoted and promoted Sims. (I also quit without saving after each change to reset.)

I can confirm that adult sons are more likely to be affected than adult daughters (but gender-swapping the kids and having them quit and rejoin their careers does nothing). I demoted King Vlad and promoted his wife over him (since Queen Phoebe) and had the adult son quit and rejoin, but no. It’s not whether they previously had a career, as I cheated Oberon to be King and his household is unaffected. (Phoebe was a level 10 actress, Vlad was unemployed and living off painting and music royalties. But Oberon was also previously unemployed.) I moved one affected household out of Queen Phoebe’s world. None of it made a difference. But there has to be a reason why Phoebe’s line and Oberon’s line are fine and Vlad’s and Roland’s (Count in Phoebe’s world) are affected. I just haven’t figured it out yet. But I did share my save, so there’s that.

    Y HELLO THAR AGAIN! ;)

Yes, it's my own fault. I added more nobles to my save and they are buggy. ;) But this is new and different!

    Three family member household:

    1. elderly mermaid, formerly in the conservationist career. I really wanted her to be Queen of the Mermaids... I mean, of Sulani. ;)
    2. her YA daughter, another conservationist
    3. her son-in-law, a gardener

(Elderly mermaid has an adult son in another household whose career panel is probably also bugged but I'll cross that vexatious bridge when I come to it.)

I pondered long and hard about whether I wanted to do this while playing other households. Prior to Vlad's son in Del Sol Valley also being bugged from afar, I thought I could just move family members out to have their career panels be okay. Alas.

So: Elderly mermaid joins the noble career. Elderly mermaid's YA daughter's conservationist career panel immediately bugs out, which renders her career unplayable, so I have her join the noble career. This renders her husband's career panel unreadable. He's a gardener. Cool. I kind of expected that. So far, so... expected, I guess. (He also joins the career to engage in a little mutually assured career panel bugging.)

The daughter had an A in high school so she immediately was promoted over her mother. I, erm, cheated so her mother was a higher rank, because her mother is the one I want to be Queen of Sulani. This immediately removed her title, Baroness of Sulani, and replaced it with Lady of Sulani.

    I...............

I can reproduce this, in that if Mom gets promoted daughter becomes Lady, but if the daughter gets promoted she's back to being Baroness, Viscountess, whatever. Then the next time Mom gets promoted she's back to being Lady.

I feel like the higher title should take precedence, not the most recent. Eventually I'll be pleased that she's the Princess and her husband is a whatever, but right now I threw up my hands and quit for the night.

I'm seriously considering cheating to get my desired end state, but I'll continue to think about it.

FWIW, the unbugged Queen of Windenburg's husband is King and stays King no matter how many promotions he gets (but I planned to cap him at 8 so he wouldn't consider his wife a rival, because she's more dangerous than he is ;) ). Perhaps the game is simply afraid to mess with the formidable Queen of Windenburg, who will END IT if it crosses her. ;)

[Note to team: you have my save. Fowler in Tangled Flat in Sulani. You can try it yourself if you want to confirm it.]
