Me and my sis are having the same problem!! We cannot open CAS. I click new game and it is just a white screen. She went into CAS to edit her sims and its just the loading screen that has the spinning plumbob. What do we do??
I fixed my issue with the dresser for now. That doesn't mean it's a complete fix. I had to delete the sim that I was playing in my previous save before I downloaded the patch (s) I had to download 3 ...three patches to get this game to rotate right. That's 3 patches after today(midnight).
The sim in question was Liberty Klien. I had uploaded her as a pure vanilla version with existing skills and her cc version would not change outfits correctly. I had to delete her (the cc version) from my game. I then went into my library and downloaded the cc. Free version of her with no mods or cc.
I was able to get CAS to work properly once I deleted the sim that I was playing in my current save. I had to install 3 patches with a fourth patch waiting. I'm playing off-line in order to not update again. All my mods are updated (3), and my game is running fine. I do not have the latest EP.
I am not having any issues with my cc or mods in the game. I removed my sims 4 folder with each patch and then re installed it each time with all my mods and cc.
