I play with mods/CC & noticed this, thinking it was some how mod related. I tested the game without mods/CC & the problem still persisted. In older saves the pets are still with their families so I'm saving just the pets & re-adding them to the families in the new saves which seems to work
I tested all of my mods folder by folder the other night only to realise the problem persisted even when I did a clean install. I realised that after being up until like 5 or 6 in the morning when I could have just gone to bed, but I was so convinced it had to be a ME problem not a GAME problem, ya know? 😓
