Updated and started a new save (just so I can play without mods). Brindleton Bay is such a sad sight these days. Every single animal just poofed out of existence, including Mayor Whiskers 😢. Doesn't seem to affect old saves. I haven't seriously played them for aforementioned reasons but I checked one out and created a new "save as" file from it for testing purposes.
