I have the Cats and Dogs pack and the Ranch pack and none of the textures for the animals coats are showing.
Yesterday I spent a couple hours painting my pets only to be horrified when I see them as completely black models when I go to play the game the next day.
It seems that only the animals that have been custom painted are displaying this issue.
The animals that have stock/non-painted in game textures appear as expected.
The animals have their eye texture as expected and the hair seems to display as expected on the horses.
In the attached images, the animals are not supposed to be black. The cat is a cat from PugOwned (the sims creator) and the horses should be leopard spotted and blanketed (they should look realistic).
This just happened to me. It's really annoying because I spent a while on some custom textures, and I found that if I try to edit one of the blacked out horses and go to paint it the default coat comes back while I'm in the painting mode, but all the customization I did on it is gone, and it blacks out again after I exit the painting mode. I really hope this gets fixed soon and that if it does the custom textures are restored and not just completely reset.
