I understand others may have had or continue to have similar issues with sims and pets blacked out. I didn't have a problem until a few days ago after another update. My cat is all black and I cannot figure out how to switch him back. The weird thing is he doesn't have any custom fur, which I have seen is the cause of issue for some other users. I have a sim who has tattoos, not custom, but he is not affected. I have played recently and created this cat with no issue. It occurred after I needed an update a few days ago. I do not have any CC or mods. I rarely use cheat codes. Here is what I have tried to fix the bug:
- Update game
- Repair game
- Reset pet in live mode with cheat code
- Reset or change pet in CAS with cheat code
- Delete cache
Nothing has worked for me. Just looking for some help. Thanks!
