I fill my pets bowls and have a sim call the pets, the pets go to the bowl but do not eat from it. I have tried using different pet bowls and having them in different places but they still won't eat. It shows them as uncomfortable and at risk of being taken away.

I need help with my dog, she has food on her bowl and she wont eat. She stands in front of the bowl and she just stands there crying and being in discomfort. I changed the food bowl and nothing, I even cooked her pet food and she doesn't want to eat. I moved the bowl to different location in the house and nothing. I even moved my sim to a new house and still my dog doesn't want to eat. My male dog is no problem he eats. Is it a glitch? I checked for a game update and no updates. I don't want to loose my dog do to hunger.
