My cat was in heat and could not be spayed. The vet kept taking the cat to the exam table instead of the machine for fixing the cat, and he would just keep assessing the cat and it would not move on with the game. I could not cancel the event and I could not move on in the game. I even took away the exam tables, but the vet then just went outside to shovel snow. My household cannot leave or move on from this event. (No mods used in my game)

I merged your post with thread on spaying/examination not working properly. Seems there's all kinds of symptoms for this atm and it's just not working well.
Did you click on the cat or on the machine to fix them ?
