[CD] Walking the dog for hours and hours and hours

Whether my sims take the dog for a long walk or a short walk, they stay walking until I cancel the interaction. All of their moods turn red. The dog starves. But they don't come home. PC via Steam, all worlds, with and without mods.

    Vanilla game. No Mods. No CC.

    Here's my Sim and his dog stuck at the end of the walking path in Ciudad Enamorada. The Sims in the background are also stuck. 

    If you can manage to start the Walking Path with the dog on a leash they will walk through to the end. But, then they get stuck at the end. Sometimes the leash disappears at the first stop and then the dog stays there while the Sim continues the walk. And may or may not get stuck.

    Ok.

    This is what is so maddening about all things Dog Walking. I rolled back my game and re-sent my Sim and his dog to the park in Ciudad Enamorada. Where previously they got stuck on the walking path over and over.

    They once again took the walking path. It worked perfectly! All the way through. When it works, I love it. But, why does it not work every time? 🤷‍♀️

    I thought dog walking was designed to keep walking forever (lol)

    I always either went jogging or canceled it after about an hour. If it's a bug, I hope they fix it!
