I've been able to clean up pretty much everything (using S4S) from my game except these lights from the Festival of Lights from SE. I know what they are. Just can't find them in any of the zone data using S4S. Nor can I shift click delete them.

Have you checked the OpenStreetData of this neighborhood with S4S?

I'm new to S4S. Not sure how to do that. Also I use the Mac version. So, the tutorials don't always match up.

I haven't looked into festival stuff from non-San Myshuno festivals. Would you mind sending me your save game ? Would be good to do some testing on that too :D
They are probably still in the OpenStreetData so was this also a case of festivals just starting to not disappear in your save game or did this newly happen ?
Need to evaluate which thread this goes into.

Not sure when this happened. I don't have anyone living in that neighborhood.
Only the Festival of Lights got stuck. Was able to remove the other LF items with shift click delete. No ideal, but it worked.
Yes. I can send the save as soon as I get back to my other computer.
Ok sent.
Adding: Now that I think on it. I did try out a bunch of RR lots in that neighborhood plus a room for rent. Ultimately I didn't keep them, but going back and forth with my test Sims might have been what led to the stuck Festival. And I would not have noticed until later. I could go back through my backups and see when this was, but not sure it would make a difference.

So I looked at your save and these lights are in the open street data along with tons of plants (I think you can delete them too, they are probably invisible).
Navigate to Streets and then find the OpenStreetsData with the world_Id B2F36125scroll up to objects and delete everything with the following keywords
- garden (plants)
- invisera (the lanterns, possibly other stuff that's not needed)
- dirt (dirt mounds)
I think it's save to delete them them all but do make a backup. I didn't test if everything is fine with the festival as I would need to play through 2 weeks.
I have two theories how this happened that I need to test out.
- These are all objects that got added to your residential rental but when you changed it back to residential, these got stuck in openstreet. You still can't clean them up but they got added back to where they initially belong.
- It's the festival issue that I have no clue how to trigger.
Will test case 1 (not sure if I have time today though) and if that is not happening, I will move this over to the festival thread.
EDIT: I tested my save where I have never been in the neighborhood before and traveled there (the openstreetdata is only created for those hoods you visited) and this is what I had (no festivals there yet)
Guess it's best to leave those but you can remove everything else
EDIT EDIT: I tested my theories and the first one seems to be correct. I took my residential rental save that had a snowman and angel stuck in the r-rental inventory and made it a regular residential lot. The snow angles and snow pals were in the streets afterwards .. they did despawn after a while though.

Thanks. Unfortunately S4S for Mac is crashing when I try to access the Save Game Data. Might try again after the New Year.
Ok. Well I decided to see if the Windows version of S4S would run in CrossOver. Yes. Very slow, but workable.

Bummer. Maybe something else is off with the save game. It work fine for me on PC though.
