I thought this problem had been fixed a while ago, but now flea market items are appearing long after the flea market is over. They cannot be interacted with and often block access to market stalls....

I uploaded my save years ago with this issue. The objects from the festival are floating above a penthouse in san myshuno.
I don't think that's the same issue. That sounds like a legacy issue from another issue. I take it they were always there even when stuff became invisible.
Have you ever tried cleaning up the save through Sims4Studio ?
I am afraid to do that because my save is 6 generations deep. If i ruin my save i will cry lol.
You could just try on a copy of the save. If you use caution, nothing can happen :D
