it happens to me every time:
I bought chickens and chicks and I looked after them, I come back and I find the reaper.
I bought llama and cow, and I come back and I find the reaper. Then I bought the little creatures of the ranch, goats and lambs, and I come back and I find the reaper.
I have all the gameplay, all the kits, I have collected all the event rewards, but I absolutely do not want to play with death, the only EP I have not bought is the one about death, I play without aging. I expect to be able to play as I was assured I could play: without aging.
This is my exact situation, it's so upsetting. I really hope they find a permanent fix for this soon. I've been experiencing this issue on and off since cottage living was released. Occasionally after some patches, my animals have been bugged and show no age, or will cycle through all the life stages repeatedly without dying. Then once a new patch or update is released, they start aging again, all while I haven't changed the aging setting from being off. It's so frustrating
