Animals seem - not only age when the aging is off - but also age too fast. My 9 bunnies were gone in a sim week. Also feels like they age even though I'm playing another household. When I return to the animal household or even visit them: BOOM the reaper is there to collect.
Yep, mine are definitely aging when I play a different household as well. Pop out for a few in game weeks, come back, and the time is up for all of my farm animals. Bessie, no!
