After moving two animal sheds on my lot, both the cow and llama are stuck in my family inventory. I attempted assigning each animal to a shed, but after attempting the first shed/animal my Sim waved their hands in the air with the red "can't reach" symbol (despite just cleaning that same shed successfully) and then when I went to try assigning the animal to the shed again both animals were grayed out. I tried again but they remained grayed out despite reloading the menu. I was able to purchase a new animal for each shed (though once it told me I couldn't have more than one animal per shed but after reloading the animal shed menu I successfully bought another animal for each shed). It has been multiple days in game and no animals have emerged from the sheds, nor can I interact with any animal via the shed. My original cow and llama were still in my family inventory with full stats.
I sold both sheds, bought two new sheds, and now my Sim has the choice to place my named original cow/llama or generic named cow and generic named llama (who are both starving and dirty, original animals are clean/full). The game acted like I successfully placed my original cow and llama into sheds, but all 4 animals appear on each menu and there is no option to interact with them in the sheds, and the same scenario as described above happens with the option to purchase another animal for the shed. When I hover over the sheds they do say they are occupied by animals. I left my home lot, went to another lot, travelled back to my home lot and tried again but the result was the same. All four animals now appear in my household inventory.
Possibly related but I will look for another thread too - All of my chickens also disappeared after I moved two coops. They were no longer present in the relationship bar either for any Sim on the lot. I was able to purchase new chickens successfully and they are interactable and functional. The same has happened with my mini goats and sheep before but not today.
