My Sim has a high positive reputation and a neighbour said they had a gift for them as they were such a good person.
Once they handed the gift over, my Sim received a sentiment for receiving a canned food item but the gift they were actually given was a small wooden horse sculpture.
This bug was supposed to have been fixed in a previous game update but it appears to have returned.
