[COL] Excessive gnome gifts

Gnomes in my yard continually and excessively leave presents on the ground around them: seed packets, upgrade parts, oversized crop seeds and fertilizers, and little debug plants that don't grow into anything. I have to spend a lot of time dragging theses into inventories or selling them and deleting the plants. I tried putting the gnomes in a sims inventory and in a chest. When I did that, the gifts stopped appearing on the ground and show up in household inventory instead, so I need to frequently clean that up.

This happens outside of harvestfest, and the gnomes are not enchanted.

  • This did not start happening until I got EBN. There are gnomes everywhere. At high school, the club, just everywhere. However, at home is where the big nightmare is happening and I am not going to spend time cleaning it up so I don't know what is going to happen as it gets worse and worse it seems.

I do not have gnome trait on my lot so I do not understand why they keep coming.

Those mushrooms are so annoying! I thought they were going to turn into something interesting, a hidden extra mushroom or something, but no, they just sit there being broken mushroom plants.

  • Do you have Cottage Living? I know if you befriend Agatha and she visits, she'll go 'talk' to the gnomes and after she leaves they will move around for a while and drop things like Cottage Living oversized seeds, base game seed packets, upgrade parts and those debug mushrooms that don't actually grow into anything. I've had this happen after she visits many times and if that's what you are experiencing, I'm pretty sure it's by design, but if not, then it could be different.

    Best regards,
    Jennifer

  • Hi Kamricorn

you say they are not enchanted. Does that mean they just spawn those things from being around ? How did you get the gnomes ?

Also, did you test this on fresh save that never had mods/cc in ?

All I ever got from gnomes are seed packets

Even them upgrading/repairing stuff didn't leave upgrades parts (although I might be remembering that wrong)
