The Gnome from the Cottage Living Early Purchase Bonus is showing as being available to be crafted even for people who don't own these bonus items. At the end of crafting, Sim abandons the project, and the only interaction available is 'scrap'. Crafting this gnome is obviously unsuccessful.

I’ve tried to build the “”onward” the adventurous gnome” five times with at least two different sims, and it always ends in the project having to be scrapped. Everything seems like it’s going fine, but then right when the project should be completing, they stop working on it and the only option is to scrap the project.
I hope you’ll fix this. It looks like the final product is a gnome in a little boat and I want to make it, it looks adorable.
I merged your post with the existing thread. The gnome was part of the early bird bonus for Cottage Living. Do you have it ?
Community ManagerI have tried to make the "Onward" the Adventurous gnome multiple times. The Sims spends the money and starts the project but abandons it halfway through and you can not resume. I own all dlc but 2 cas kits.
The issue with this is because the COL preorder items are incorrectly showing under base game items in BB even though they arent. So the game thinks the Gnome is from BG. Hopefully they fix all three items and tag them properly as part of their solution.
