Having an issue with the "repair or replace the computer". Computer is not broken. No option to "salvage for parts". Tried purchasing a new computer, did not work. Went to a different lot, tried to break a cheaper computer, nothing breaks. Fixed plenty of other items, but this is not working. Found work arounds for all other weeks.
If no salvage available for you I would go to the same lot as the one you were on when doing the quest and then play or hack on cheapest computer for as long as it takes to break it (can be multiple sim days). And then fix it.
