It is so frustrating that the beampole snaps to corners and you can't rotate the, especially the Eco-Lifestyle columns. Poles that are symmetrical or semi-symmetrical, you can get away with.

I was looking for somewhere to comment this as well- it's such an annoying bug. I actually suspect it's not a bug but intentional in some way, since all the columns will "snap" to a direction sometimes and not allow turning- but with certain columns it becomes really obvious.
It specifically bugs me the most with the Eco Lifestyle "Steel the Show" Column- it basically makes the column unusable for building.
No matter what I've tried in this build the right column won't rotate. If I build and additional room 1-tile room next to it I can place it correctly but as soon as I delete one wall of that room it reverts to this position.
I would love to see this issue resolved/this changed within the game.
