Comprehensive bug list – issues prior to July updates and post July updates

Preface: these are bugs I’ve personally experienced, I don’t use mods or cc. These are not in alphabetical order. Please feel free to comment bugs you've experienced so I can make a more general bug list in the future. :) 

General bugs/base game:

• Infants when given nap are still tired and have sad moodlet
• Routing issues, some sims can’t access areas other sims can
• Reading to toddlers/children doesn’t always work, have to click interaction multiple times
• Certain chair and desk combos don’t work – must sit at chair before being able to use computer/laptop
• Multiple sims try to care for infant when one sim is already interacting with them and cancels interaction
• Sims will randomly stop activities
• Sims don’t perform queued actions – must reset object by shift clicking
• Infants don’t crawl properly – glide across floor (worst when infant is in a onesie)
• Fireplace catches on fire upon loading when it has the fireguard update
• General crashing, but we all know that
• Sims sometimes just don’t go to work

Seasons:

• Some holiday goals are no longer check off as completed when travelling
• Can’t always ask for present from Father Winter
• Weeds still appear on plants that are out of season and cannot be weeded
• Not a bug but sims will run outside during thunderstorms – it is best to lock all doors
• Don’t always get enough trick or treaters to complete tradition if part of a holiday
• Flower bunny doesn’t always spawn on lot
• Sims with techie lifestyle get sad about broken electronics when no electronics are broken

Eco lifestyle

• Fabrication machine not useable even when it is not blocked

Growing together

• Don’t always receive top notch toddler trait
• Tries to complete pull to stand up milestone on chairs that are at tables (desk chairs, dining chairs)

Parenthood

• Some traits get stuck going into the positive and then do not show progress when reloaded
• If childhood phase is cheated away it doesn’t appear in their simplogy but they still carry out the actions associated with the childhood phase

Laundry day:

• Sometimes sims turn on washing machine when loading, other times they don’t

Crystal creations:

• Sometimes crystals will appear as drained but moodlets are still there

Goth galore:

• Hands disappear when sim is wearing leather jacket

Urban homage:

• Hands disappear when wearing the jacket/bralette top

Horse ranch:

• Children’s legs are cut off when wearing cowboy boots
• Horses experience routing issues

High school years:

• If teen graduates early they still have a hurt sentiment over not being invited to prom and so does their partner

Cats and dogs

• Pets run away even if their needs are taken care of and given attention
• If sims choose to interact with animal while painting it cancels the painting

Riviera retreat

• Sometimes water features are only visible from second floor, rocks also disappear
• Not all items appear when sorted by show all

Dine out

• Sims will randomly stand up from their seat at their table
