[CoL] Cows Disappearing from Sheds

I would like to add that I have also experienced disappearing chickens, which another user reported here.

It's a related issue, to be sure. When I chose "Purchase Animal..." after encountering the bug I reported on this thread, the shed became occupied, but the animal would not come out. I used Debug to create a cow and only then did the animal emerge normally. I have also run across the "cow stuck in inventory" snafu that others on the forum have described while I was trying to fill a vacancy caused by a disappearing cow.

This happened to me too!

I thought (for me) it may be related to Residential Rentals, as that's the only place I've had that issue, but at that time I hadn't seen anyone else post about the issue!

In my save: the issue persisted no matter how many times I would delete and re-buy a new cow shed. I eventually moved the family to a regular residential lot to test, bought a new cow shed and the issue never returned!

I haven't had this specifically, but every time a chook shed gets put in household inventory, any hens that are inside it are deleted. This has happened when I moved lot, as the hens were all in bed in the middle of the night, but also when I was just rearranging fences and a chook shed got automatically moved to household inventory - three hens survived and the rest vanished from existence.

I don't know if it's related to the way, when you move house, all the contents of the fridge, bookshelves, toy boxes, and other storage items are deleted. It's very annoying having to empty every such storage into personal inventories before moving house. I probably should have realised that my hens would be deleted too when I moved house, but sadly I didn't make that connection, and had to cheat code the money to pay for a replacement flock.
