I'm having the same issue -- and I think it affected programming, too, because my sim made a plugin that sold for §0. I don't know if that just happens sometimes. I've never found programming to be very lucrative, even before this bug. But I'm definitely having it with high-level paintings selling for less than the price of the canvas.
