Retail is BROKEN. I have removed all my Mods, Repaired game, ect. In my Art Gallery I make a painting set for sale at ay 1500.00. If I leave store and return the painting is now worth 200.00 I have to set not for sale then put into inventory and then put back up on wall and set for sale again for it to go back to 1500.00. Seems to only effect Normal and Excellent painting. Not happening with Masterpieces. Just happened on Last update.

This issue is happening on my vanilla save, base game only (no pack or kits, mods and CC were removed before I started this new save), on current latest patch, I play on PC through EA app.
My sim maxed out his painting level, except for masterpieces, his painting mostly sells around 200-300 simoleans (both medium and large excellent paintings). Someone mentioned that putting in sims inventory and put it out again will revert it back to original price, but in my case, it is not working most of the time. There was a time where a painting price increase back to around 600 simoleans, but most of the times, my painting prices just fluctuates between 200-300, as in the same painting prices changes everytime i put it in my sim inventory and put it out on easel again. And those paintings’ price at completion (excellent quality, max painting level) were around 200 simoleons.
this has been happening to me too since the most recent patch, it's a bit of a hassle since my sim runs a small business selling her art and she's trying to save up for a non-starter home. :'D
I think it has something to do with the Go To Work DLC. My art gallery has the same problem and my other game my detective is messed up now. He goes to search prisoners and they walk away and he is patting down the Air. haha. On my art gallery if I take Pics off of wall put into Inventory and then back up on wall they go back to regular price UNTIL I leave. When I go back the are at 200 again
I merged your post with a related issue. Sounds like the same issue even if it's different circumstances.
I have a few paintings from my sims generations that are excellent quality and have been a few thousand simoleons, but I checked today and they are now like not even 200 simoleons. Not sure if it may affect new paintings that the sims make but this could be a issue. ( I do not have any mods and I play on PC ) Thanks guys for your help!
