I'm also experiencing this issue. I made a sim and used the tattoo paint tool on her a couple days ago and when I loaded in just now she's blacked out. I haven't touched any other sims in this save file with the paint tool and they're all fine, she's the only one blacked out. I'm on PC, so this isn't just a console issue.
