Daily Task Stuck On Complete

I can't pinpoint exactly when this bug popped up but it's been happening for almost a year now where my sims daily task is stuck on complete and will not refresh after they return from work. I'm not sure what to do and was hoping the bug would eventually get fixed but it has yet to be addressed and it's very frustrating. I've looked up the bug on the forum and a post I found from two years ago mentioned it had something to do with the sim having the responsibility trait but other than that there was no resolution. It's strange because not all of my sims are affected by this bug, only specific sims in my gameplay are. Either way I'm hoping it can be easily resolved.
