After the newest update, whenever I tried to start a date the second the loading screen finishes it will show that the date has ended and receive a notice saying the date didn't go well.
I have tried with different household or closing and reopening the game, but the same problem keeps happening.
This has been happening to me, especially when I get invited on a date by another character. They always leave right away.
Happening to me too. Brand new game created about 2-3 hours ago, loaded into the very first family in willow creek(spencer kim lewis). Alice asked Eric on a lovestruck date I said why not and picked the library in san sequioa. First off their kid came with for some reason even though she was not on the invite, second neither of the sims when flirting with each other counted for the date activites and then it just ended for no reason after no prompting from me.
I thought that was odd but just chalked it up to the usual buggy game. Sent the kiddo home and recreated the date. Alice asked how Erics day was and then date ended no reason no prompting just over and unsucessful.
All are active sims in the same household controlled by me.

I'm having this issue now as well. Since the July 16 update I believe. I thought it might have been mods, so I disabled mods and reloaded the game and it was still happening. My sim has been invited to base game dates by other sims and those have worked. I haven't tried to have my sim start a base game date yet thought. I'm also having issues with romance levels and romantic satisfaction levels plummeting even when doing appropriate interactions that are supposed to raise the levels. Like I'm not doing physical intimacy interactions on sims that dislike physical intimacy.
