Discovery Quests won't go away/Constant Messages popping up

Ever since reaper rewards ended my game is contiously 'starting' the navigating needs and scoring simoleons discovery quests. I've tried completely the quests but that didn't work, they just kept restarting. Have also tried turning the quests and tutorials off/restarting/repairing the game but that isn't working either.

And when I say keep starting I mean it's popping up multiple times a minute even when it's still 'active' My sims just gained over 15 thousand simoleons from the scoring simoleons quest just spam starting. Like....It keeps telling me my notification wall is full less than a minute after i delete all because these quests will not stop spamming me.

I have no mods or ccs in my game.

  • This just started happening for me today and the game is unplayable. Whether the discovery quests are on or off, every time you try to delete them they come back full force.
It also cycles through ALL of the discovery quests every time. I just moved my sims from their home area to another map and am just seeing these for the first time.

I tried turning off ALL tutorial/tip settings and it changed nothing. This kept happening with the Reaper Rewards too. I just want to play the game in peace!

  • Same thing for me! Makes the game impossible to play. Everything disabled on options but still no luck at all 😭

  • Same here. And I was under the impression that Reaper Rewards ends today, which I had just one more thing to finish and couldn't because of this. It does still show the little Reaper to the right of the quests though and all the rewards when you click on it.

  • Okay update to this - yesterday I could NOT for the life of me get these to go away, today I started a new save (without changing or touching any settings) and the Discovery Quests are gone.
The Reaper Rewards icon is still there for some reason, but the quests no longer pop up!

It's still an issue because I did literally nothing. I wish there was a way to opt-out of future events because I feel like Reaper Rewards broke my save....

Yep, it's sad too because I spent about 4 hours working on a new home for my Sim family and now this. I literally cannot play the game now without this popping up or going away.
I guess it's time for me to take another 6 month break...

I have the same problem 😭 Unstoppable "Always on the move - View lessons" notification!

Even without any CC or Mods, I keep getting the "Always on the move - View lessons" notification nonstop. What’s going on?? 😖

Does anyone know what might be causing this or how to fix it? I’d really appreciate any advice!

Guys, an update: on 22/11, it looks like it's gone for me now. I think it was a bug in the game, and they fixed it because everything has been normal for a few hours now... let's see.

  • Hi there!

I had the same issue after completing the Reaper's Rewards Event. Every time I launched the game and entered live mode, the Skillful Sims and Navigating Needs quests kept popping up again and again. As previously reported, even when I tried deleting them, they just came back. This also happened when switching households or saves (though I didn’t test it with a brand-new save). The constant pop-ups and the collapsed notification wall made the game almost unplayable.

Finally, I saw a post suggesting just completing the tasks instead of deleting or ignoring them (even though the quest descriptions suggested otherwise). I gave it a shot, and it worked! I've been playing for a few hours now without any problems.

I hope this helps anyone who hasn’t tried this approach yet!
