Same thing is happening to me! Ever since the Reaper's Rewards, my sims can't sit together at a table as a family or group. It doesn't only pertain to dates: groups, families, etc. are affected too. One sim can request a table for the group, but only that one sim is allowed to sit at the table. Each sim has to request their own table if they want to sit down.
