[DO] No host or chefs at restaurant (Visit)

Could you please provide the following information

-  Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do.

crinrict​  Thank you I have voted on the merge post. I am unsure what you mean by only when I visit, I can only visit 😑not sure how else I could go there.

I mean if you also don't have staff if you own the place and run it with your Sim or just if you go there as a guest

crinrict​ I see! well I do not own it, I am unsure if this would happen if I was an owner, it's when I visit like taking the children for dinner or going on a date, there is no staff at all

This is really upsetting me now, I have also uninstalled dine out and re installed it and its still broken, Its just so awful because I use dining out a lot and now I can not use it, even the free dining out night that you get I cant go on and then my sims are sad because they had a bad holiday😔

So I have now brought a restaurant to see if this is still happening and sadly I can not even open it so that's not working ether it seems the whole dining out pack is broken 😪

crinrict​ my update on this issue is that a couple of restaurants are working but most so do not, even new builds I make are not working I have tried to see the difference between the one that works and the ones that do not but there is nothing I can see that is,  Plus I can still not get the ones I own to open ether do you have any suggestions on for me on this, I know the only other thing I can do is to start a new game and move my sims over but then I would lose all the family connections and tree which I really do not want to do.

I have a report about this. I was also suffering from this bug for a few days; I had even given up trying to solve it, and apparently, I accidentally fixed it... My game was lagging a bit (I have a downloaded ultimate save and play on it), so I decided to do that 'hard reset' on the game, backing up my folders and letting the game generate new ones. Factory reset is the name? I forgot. Anyway... when I did this, the employees started appearing again in the restaurants (so far, every one I've visited in my game had its proper staff: host, cook, waiter, etc.). So maybe it's worth a try for anyone who has this problem...

Oh, another thing I did was remove the 'No Empty Venues When Arrives' mod. I don't know if it had anything to do with it, but it was causing infinite loading screens in my game. Since I did both things at the same time (the hard reset and the removal of that specific mod), I thought it was worth mentioning.
I will keep an eye to see if this bug will return for me after a couple gameplays

TLDR: Hard reset solved the problem for me.
