[DO] No host or chefs at restaurant (Visit)

when i go to a restaurant, i get there and the staff is there, except for room managers. so i can’t get a table. why is it so hard for this game not to have any bugs at all? this is literally the tenth i’ve run into since opening the game this afternoon. 

Started having his issue after the latest update. Host does not show up and therefore restaurants become unplayable since you need a host to request a table. Even tried deleting and replacing host stand and that made no difference.

When I visit a specific restaurant located in Magnolia Promenade, there is no host. There are waiters and chefs, but no host. I replaced the restaurant thinking it was the build itself, but I am still having the same issue. I have another restaurant in Willow Creek where there is always a host- it's only the Magnolia lot.

I do not use mods or cc and I do not have the get famous pack. The affected restaurant is also not an owned restaurant, so I don't know what the issue is. This issue started earlier today. How do I get a host?

I am also having this issue in my game (PC, no mods). It started after the most recent update. 

Edited to add that I tested two workarounds with success. 1. Changing the venue type to generic and then back to restaurant. 2. Buying the restaurant, hiring staff and then selling it. 

After September update, multiple restaurants do not have a host. There was one that populated on the sidewalk of one of the restaurants I attempted to have the Sims eat at, but then quickly disappeared. The restaurant still has chefs and they make food for diners that are already assigned to a table upon loading the lot. I'm playing on Xbox 

Right after the recent patch (1.128.90 1030) dropped, hosts are not spawning at some restaurants. For me, it's mostly happening in San Myshuno, but I’ve seen other players mention it happening in different worlds after the patch. Everything was working fine at the restaurants before the update. I’ve already tried traveling to another lot and back, resetting the host station, reinstalling the game, and even increasing sim limits with MCCC, but none of these helped. I've removed my mod folder, but the issue is still happening. Hope this gets looked into and fixed soon.

I kinda resolved the issue by having a sim own the restaurant and hiring a host- the host is glitchy, but they are there

When my sims travel to a restaurant or try to go on a date, the host isn't at the host's podium. My sims can't get seated or request a table since there is no host. I've tried multiple restaurants, I tried repairing the game, restarting the game and debugged the host's podiums. Nothing is working. Is this happening to anyone else? What is even weirder is that the chefs and waiters show up. And other diners seem to be able to walk to the host's podium, nod at an imaginary person or just go right to their seats without a host. I believe this only started happening after the September update.

I have had it happen, but from the restaurant point of view. The manager of the restaurant opening the restaurant but the host never showed up so nobody could get a table.
