[HR] [ECO] Drinking nectar gives fizz moodlets

Pretty much says it all in the title. Drinking nectar gives random fizz moodlets like suspicious fizz ect.

Edit By Crinrict: Added Tag to Title (please add pack tags yourself). Added thread tags from info another user was providing)

I try to drink nectar and I have this bug. After drinking, my sim got the suspicious fizz moodlet (usually reserved for juice/soda made from the bizarre fruit [strangerville]).

I play on PS5 and have also been experiencing this in my game since the July 1st update. When Sims drink any nectar, they get a temporary 'dangerously fizzy (from suspicious fizz)' moodlet and do the creepy Stranger shuffle while otherwise completing tasks as normal. This particular moodlet has historically been reserved for times when Sims consume a suspicious fizz juice (from the Eco Lifestyle expansion). Sims aren't truly possessed, thankfully, but it was still super surprising the first time this happened!

(A second, and possibly related bug, has also been occurring in my game since Tuesday's patch: when Sims eat ceviche and chips, they sometimes die and a popup appears stating that they've died due to eating bad pufferfish. But, it isn't pufferfish at all... Suspect this may all be connected to the upcoming faeries and their mischief.)

  • Yes they walk around like possessed by the mother and they always get the horribly fizzy moodlet and puke no matter the quality or aging of the nectar.

  • PS 5 here, I can confirm: since patch 2.14, you get either the vomiting or the silly walk after drinking nectar. This includes the related moodlets, in addition to the correct nectar effects. Doesn't seem to matter if the drink is from the bar or self-crafted or which quality it is.

I did software support for many years and I know you should report only one issue at once, but this patch 2.14 is full of bugs, design flaws and haunting changes not mentioned in the release notes... it's really hard to resist.
