After the patch/new update my other sim went to U. Everything seem like it's fix. But on the 3rd day it happen again. So this time instead of changing the lot to Foxbury and back I switch to Residential. Previously when I switch to Foxbury and back it fix the issue but NPC students still spawn but not as many. I didn't had the time to test further as my previous sim had only few days left in U. So this time I on 3rd day it happen again so I send my sim to another lot and go to manage world, change the lot type from Britechester commons to Residential instead to Foxbury. Went back to my sim and let it run for few seconds then go back and change back to Britechester Commons. This time after doing the lot change, there's no more NPCs spawning when you arrive at the commons. My sims still have 3 more weeks in U to test out but so far after 3 days everything still working fine. Maybe others can try out this method
After testing this is what I find out. My sim arrive in U on Tuesday. Three days later the issue happen. After the change lot type from Residential to Ubrite Commons, ran it for a week before it happen again. One thing I notice is that it keep happening on Fridays. 2 days before it happen (Wednesday) I also notice the Debate Guild suppose to have an event at 4pm but the members keep spawning every time my sim arrive and they would just walk up to the podium and just stood there. This goes on until Sunday they stop spawning. So after the lot change I ran again for another week and this time it went thru without issue until the following week it happen again same day which is on Friday. And alot of sims around 6 of them would spawn every time I arrive and some of them would bring along a cup of tea? There's no tea machine so where did they get the tea from? I think it has something to do with Tea and Poetry? which I have no idea what that event is cause I went to Derby's den on thursday night and there was a message appear on top about tea and poetry
