Happening to me as well. I notice that sometimes when I get to the High School (default lot, not modified, no mods), I can see the cafeteria worker walking out the front of the building until they leave the lot completely. This happens as my teen gets to school, the bus is still by the entrance along with most students.
It's quite annoying because the cafeteria is unusable this way and I don't always have time to give my sim breakfast before joining at HS so they usually complain about starving and get tense/angry moodlets for the rest of the HS day, affecting their performance and making it much harder to play.
