The Ubrite Commons Cafeteria was working fine until about a month ago (I've sent more than a dozen students through Britechester with no problem) - when it suddenly stopped working properly.
I'm playing on PC, Windows 10, no mods, no CC, 35 add-ons.
Repairing the game didn't help; bulldozing and replacing the lot (with the original or a gallery Commons) didn't help.
It's designated as a University Commons and has all the required items.
The latest update neither caused it (as this happened before that) or fixed it unfortunately.
Details:
I decided to send a Sim I created in October (for the Grimm Event) to Britechester - only to find that the Cafeteria worker rarely spawned .
Also, the cafeteria object itself is rarely clickable. When it is clickable to indicate when the next service will start (e.g. noon), 12 noon arrives but the Worker doesn't - and the cafeteria station becomes unclickable again. I've deleted and replaced the station several times and that only worked once.
From time to time, the Cafeteria worker did spawn - but when she did, *not a single student showed up* as they usually do to study etc. It was just my Sim and the Worker on the lot.
Not a single Debate Practice session happened either, even when students were present. The Art Guild to which she belonged worked fine.
I sent her to to check Larry's Lagoon at Foxbury a few times and it never had a problem at all - with spawning a worker during hours or between hours when the worker is there waiting for the correct time; the station is always clickable even when the Worker is not yet on their shift.
Other Britechester venues work normally - Librarian at the Library; Bartender at Pepper's.
This problem continued through all 12 weeks of her degree program and is ongoing; I check it from time to time and it's still broken. I was blaming it on Horse Ranch which I recently bought and installed but I did that around the same time that Life & Death (which I haven't bought) was released - so maybe that's the culprit (?). Any help/input would be greatly appreciated.
