[EBN] Can't shoo pixies from neighbourhood plants

The Wild Lightning Root plant in the Everdew regiom of Innisgreen has somehow become infested with pixies in my game preventing any of my sims from harvesting it or interactiing with it any meaningful way. Clicking on the plant only brings up two options: "View Lightning Root" and "Water" the latter of which is grayed out with the message "Mischievous pixies are preventing (name of sim) from approaching this plant." There is no option to deal with the pixies as there normally is with pixie-infested plants assigned to a specific lot.

I've tried to remove them with various different sims including fairy sims, plant sims, sims with the Plant-Lover trait, and Spellcasters, all of which had a Gardening skill of 10, but none of them are given any option to deal with the pixies. I've tried all of the cheat options available to manipulate the plant, but none of them got rid of the pixies..

This has happened to the Wild Moody Shrub in my save, the only options are to Name, Water (which is grayed out), View Moody Shrub, or Cleanse in Nature. I've tried everything, even resetting the shrub, waiting through season changes, etc. but it is still infested.

I can't collect any of the "magic" plants. They constantly say they were recently collected no matter how long I wait.
