Could you please provide the following information
- Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do.

No mods, just some CAS and Build/Buy CC that have no reason to affect gameplay.

From what I understand the emotional force is similar to the hunger need for human Sims (which it replaces for fairies), so I would expect it to also decay slightly over time. Basically emotions are what fairies live off.

CAS and Build/Buy CC that have no reason to affect gameplay.
There have been issue caused by cc so please always test without before reporting.
As flauschtrud said, I don't think this is a bug though. Up to Maxis to decide though.

My emotional force suddenly drains non-stop. It seemed to occur right after I got the "Outdoorsy Lifestyle" trait (which I didn't have before) I used the stone to go to the peak of the mountain and meditated and slept there. Then I went home and started painting indoors, which I've done a lot as I've improved my fairy. This is the first time after a few paintings that my emotional for drained out and warned me I was low. Now even going outdoors in the fairy map it's draining non-stop.
