I've noticed that the apothecary career doesn't get any holidays, I have to take PTO to get the day off. I'm playing the Horticulturalist branch, but didn't get holidays in the base career either.

I get PTO days. What I mean is that when it's a holiday that any other career automatically gets off, my apothecary sim still gets the pop up to choose whether to go into work, take patients, etc. Which means they have to take a banked PTO day to stay home on the holiday.
Oh, I understand what you mean now. I don't have Seasons installed, so there aren't any holidays in my game. I thought you meant you weren't earning vacation days.
