This is happening to me too, dangerously fizzy moodlet, sims doing the infected walk, and throwing up, what is this and how do we stop it? Mine was caused from drinking during a holiday toast. I also think if 63 people were standing in the EA lobby expressing our frustration it would definitely look like a lot, so 63 votes is enough to warrant a fix. Photos are after both sims had one glass of apple nectar, she is also balanced with good luck.

This one is actually unbearable
On PC, patch 1.116.232, new game, no cc. The Sim mixes a drink at the bar and drinks it. (Apple/Grape/Strawberry Nectar from "Horse Ranch" or a fizzy cocktail). The Sim receives many moodlets from drinking, including one from fizzy drinks from "Eco Lifestyle" and a strange walk.

This is happening to me on Xbox series x and it’s super annoying as I’m running a wine business and everyone is running around throwing up doing the possessed walk no matter the quality of the nectar!

I have this issue too, and I don't play with any mods, or cc. When my sims drink any kind of nectar they get an uncomfortable moodlet that says "suspicious fizz" or "horrible fizz", and they throw up, leaving a green puddle on the ground. If they drink two glasses, they pass out, and when they get up they do the possessed walk from Strangerville. I had to cancel a wine club because all they did was mop puke the whole time, not fun. It happens with all types of nectar, whether they get it from the bar, or make it themselves.
ETA: I play on PC

So was this not fixed in today’s update???
- dwill1933 months agoSeasoned Scout
Update, no this was not fixed, How long are we expected to have our sims take a drink, do a crazy walk and puke all over the place? Until you’re pushing out the next dlc? This makes no sense that every time something is released things are broken like this, then are left broken for weeks while “appreciating our patience” which who said that? This is no small bug, it’s such a shame. And another bug fix should roll out asap.

Disappointing but unsurprising that this wasn't fixed with today's patch.
After more testing, it seems to be slightly more frequent for them to get the Dangerously Fizzy moodlet and start doing the possessed walk than to get the Horribly Fizzy moodlet and start barfing everywhere. Happens with nectar, fizz and seltzer made with ingredients that should not result in either moodlet. Interestingly enough, kombucha is unaffected.

This has been happening a lot to my Sims, more frequently during events/club gatherings but not always. I only have the MCC Mod in my game which is up to date so not convinced this is it. Has occurred since one of the recent updates (not 100% if from pre Enchanted patch or the emergency patch for the plate dragging just after)

To start, I play on PC and have never used cc or mods.
This is NOT a funny bug. My currently active sim is a member of the Good Times club. To fill making bar drinks I chose make grape nectar for everyone simply because it was first on the list of drink options to make for the group. She now has the horribly fizzed moodlet and two other members have developed the infected walk.
