oh you also always vomit and pass out after two drinks. before the base game patch you could have three for the best positive moodlet and not receive negative buffs until the 4th drink.

I’ve got this too. I caught it on video.

Since the new patch my sims have gotten a "suspicious fizz" after ANY drink from the bar (nectar or otherwise). They then proceed to throw up immediately which pisses EVERYONE off. If they don't throw up, they start to act like they do in Strangerville when they've been infected by the mother. Idk what's happening. It doesn't seem to matter if they make the drink or not, they still get the same moodlet. My poor sim's 18th birthday party looks like such a **bleep**show with all the vomit 🤣

Same on Xbox One, sim had a grape nectar at the bar in fairyworld and got a suspicious fizz moodlet.

I've seen some non-infected sims using the possessed walk animation. Both times have been during custom dates. The first was my sims date, the second was my sim.

I finally updated my game and yep, I have this bug. After the first glass of nectar my sim got the horribly fizzy moodlet and threw up. After the second glass of nectar she got the over-nectared moodlet and passed out. It used to be 3 glasses of nectar before any ill effects.
I didn't see her do the possessed walk, which was actually disappointing because if my game's going to be this broken it could at least look entertaining. That said, I'm pretty upset about this bug - nectar is one of my most-used features from the DLC I own. I'd love to see this fixed quickly but I seriously doubt it has enough upvotes to be addressed this year. I'll probably just end up reverting my game since I saved everything to an external hard drive before updating.
If it matters, I'm on PC playing version 1.116.232.1030 with mods removed.

I did some testing on this. In my game at least the normal bar drinks (Sweet & Spicy, Virgin Caipirinha, Rootbeer Float and Cupid Juice) seem unaffected: they give only the expected moodlets. Any variety of nectar from the bar gives the moodlets and effects in my previous post. My poor sim barfed all over her house.
