This happens almost every day in game. A random sim will walk into my sims' house and start making a cake. I don't invite them in, and I can't send them home without introducing myself/talking to them first. They don't even knock or come through the front door. They often times have low cooking skill and will start fires. FREQUENTLY. It's so annoying. This also happens any time my sims have a social gathering, whether they just invite a sim over or throw a party. The invited sim(s) just start making cakes. The worst one was when I threw a wedding for my sims at my own house, SUCH A MISTAKE. There were dozens of half-finished cakes laying ALL OVER my house; none of them could finish because the first sim started a fire and broke my oven, but I'll bet every single sim I invited tried to make a cake anyway AT LEAST twice. I tried temporarily blocking the countertop space which prevented them from from starting a fire by using the oven, but they just kept getting the ingredients to start making a cake over and over again.
Why is it that whenever my sim tries to cook at someone else's house it's "inappropriate," but other sims autonomously do it at my place all the time? Not only do they do that, but they also eat the food from my fridge instead of eating the stuff I laid out for them to eat.
This is ruining my gameplay experience. I cannot have social events at home anymore. I cannot even invite sims over to my house anymore because ALL THEY DO IS MAKE CAKES AND START FIRES AND EAT MY LEFTOVERS.
Please fix this! 🫶
