Commenting just to add on that I have been experiencing this issue since the Lovestruck patch! This would make it around a year with this issue not fixed. It's great that a mod exists to address this but it would have been great for this to have been addressed in the last big update, since it seems these kinds of bugs don't get fixed until a pre-EP update.
